Peacecampreunion 2009

A reunion of the Hungarian, Austrian, Jewish and Arab Israeli participants of peacecamps 2007 and 2008 is due to take place in Israel, April 4th-14th , 2009.

Candidates for peacecamp2009, due to take place in Austria in summer 2009 will participate in parts of thís encounter.

April 4th-14th, 2009 – 11 days, including traveling days

Day 1 April 4th: traveling to Israel
Day 2 April 5th: Nazareth, Haifa
Day 3 April 6th: History of the State of Israel and the Israeli-Arab conflict (Jewish narrative)
Day 4 April 7th: Jerusalem, Yad Vashem
Day 5 April 8th: History of the Jewish-Arab conflict(Arab Narrative) -- evening: Erev Pessach ceremony
Day 6 April 9th: to be announced
Day 7 April 10th and
Day 8 April 11th: workshop webtools4peace (computer-room in one of the
schools)
Day 9 April 12th and
Day 10 April 13th: large group with Silvio
Day 11 April 14th: traveling home

Participants of peacecamps2007 and 2008 will participate in the the whole schedule.

Candidates for peacecamp2009 (Austria, July 2009) will participate in the workshops history4peace and webtools4peace.

In Planung:
- peacecamp/Reunion 2009 in Israel (April 2009) mit den Gruppen der peacecamps 2007 und 2008 sowie den neuen palästinensisch- und jüdisch-israelischen TeilnehmerInnen von pc2009.
Vorgesehen sind:
a. Workshop Contemporary History: der arabisch-israelische Konflikt aus palästinensischer und israelischer Sicht
b. Workshop webtools4peace zum gemeinsamen Erlernen einer Kompetenz
c. Besichtigung historisch und/oder religiös relevanter Orte in Israel: Nazareth, Haifa, Jerusalem (inkl. Yad VaShem)
d. Psychoanalytische Großgruppe
